I am super geeked about the new iTunes movie rental announcement. Now when I travel I can simply download movies I want to watch on my Mac and not have to take a stack of DVDs with me. I love this idea. The price is reasonable and you get to keep the movie for 30 days. The only thing that sucks is that the movie expires 24 hours after it is first opened. I don't think with will replace my Netflix subscription, but it will sure make travel more fun.
Don't even get me started on the new Macbook Air! It looks awesome, to bad I don't really need a new computer right now.

The travel argument is the closest to making this a feasible idea as it is now.
$3-$5 is just too much to pay for movies. Especially ones that don't even require shipping or material to make them.
Until these get to $2 per, and until people can watch these on their televisions, this will just be all bark and no bite. IMHO.
you can watch it on your tv. It's called Apple TV. At least that is what Apple wants us to do.
Yeah, I don't like having to purchase extra equipment to use a service that doesn't save me money to begin with.
